Requirements for Registration as a Real Estate Sales Representative
To work as a Sales Representative you must be registered with the Real Estate and Business Agents Supervisory Board (REBA), the Real Estate licensing and supervisory authority in WA.
Once you have completed and successfully passed this course you will be able to apply for a certificate of registration as a Real Estate Sales Representative. REBA requires you to provide a recent (no more than 3 months old) National Police Certificate as part of REBA’s application for registration. If you have a police record, it would be wise to contact the Board prior to enrolling on the course to ascertain the likelihood of your registration being approved.
For further information contact REBA on 9282 0839 or at www.reba.wa.gov.au.
You must apply for registration within 12 months of successfully completing the course.
Registration is granted for a period of 3 years.
You must be over the age of 18.

Assessment
The course is 'competency based' - and is assessed by an assignment which is based on workplace practice. There are no examinations. The assessment requires work to be completed outside the classroom which often takes more than the 2 weeks of the course to complete. The amount of time taken to complete assessment depends on the circumstances of the individual student. Students have 6 months to complete their assessment but we recommend that all work is completed within 3 months.
To work as Sales Representative, you must be registered with the Real Estate and Business Agents Supervisory Board (REBA), the licensing authority in WA. Although you have 6 months to complete your assessment, you will not be able to register with REBA as a Sales Representative until your assessment has been marked and you have been found competent.
Certification
On successful completion of the assessment for this course, students are entitled to receive a Statement of Attainment for the units of competency as outlined above.
This Statement of Attainment will recognise partial completion of the CPP40307 Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) and will entitle you to apply for registration as a sales representative with the Real Estate and Business Agents Supervisory Board (REBA)
Nationally Recognised
This course is comprised of units that are nationally recognised. For registration in other states, please contact that state’s regulatory authority.
Refund Policy
Participants who enrol and withdraw from this course prior to its commencement may be entitled to a part refund. Refunds are provided on a sliding scale based on the amount of notice you give. For full details, please refer to REIWA's refund policy
It is important to note that should a real estate agency pay the course enrolment fee for this course on behalf of the student, that the right to enrolment in this course belongs to the student.
