One of the most effective methods of progressing your Real Estate career is to undertake the CPP50307 Diploma of Property Services (Agency Management).

All prospective Diploma students have an extensive informal conversation with the License Coordinator to ensure that the course content, structure and fees and refunds policy are understood. Course Overview



The Diploma of Property Services (Agency Management) combines a focus on the financial, technical and interpersonal skills and knowledge required to run a real estate agency.  The program includes units relating to leadership, business management, interpersonal skills and specific real estate practice of real estate sales or property management.

In addition, this program, the CPP50307 Diploma of Property Services (Agency Management) has been endorsed by the Real Estate and Business Agent’s Supervisory Board (REBA) as the educational requirement for the granting of a real estate agents licence.

Who should attend
Any person wishing to obtain a Real Estate Agent's Licence.
Content

To complete the CPP50307 Diploma of Property Services (Agency Management), an individual must complete 26 units of competency, 6 core units and between 4 and 10 common units and a minimum of 8 units from Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) – Property sales and management units. 

The remaining units may be chosen from a combination of Specialist and Elective units as indicated in the course structure list.

Modes of Learning available
All individual courses are available via:

  • Classroom tutorial
  • Correspondence
  • Online (not interactive)
  • Recognition of prior learning (RPL)
  • Assessment

    Competency based assessment approaches are used to assess success in this program.  Assessments allow participants to demonstrate skills and knowledge in the context of the workplace, where appropriate.

    Assessment includes a combination of methods which may include, but are not limited to, assignments, role plays, work samples, case studies and practical demonstrations. To successfully complete each of the units, participants need to complete each assessment task competently.

    Assessment results are expressed as one of the following:

    • C = Competent
    • NYC = Not Yet Competent

    Should an individual be assessed as NYC, they have the option to undertake one re-assessment at no additional charge.

    Certification

    Upon successful completion of this program, participants will be entitled to receive the qualification CPP50307 Diploma of Property Services (Agency Management).

    Nationally Recognised
    This is a nationally recognised course which will receive Credit Transfer throughout Australia.
    Ongoing Support

    All licence/diploma students have access to a dedicated License Coordinator who is there to assist and mentor students through the learning process.

    Duration

    Enrolment into this full program (26 units) extends as a maximum across 2 years; however, many participants complete their program well within this timeframe.

    REIWA Learning’s Focus training program enables participants to complete a combination of training modes available in a 6 month timeframe.  This is a dedicated program using accelerated learning techniques targeted to adult learners; including recognition of knowledge and skills gained in the workplace with or without academic qualification.

    It is the responsibility of the participant to complete all units within the maximum timeframe stated.

    Courses run throughout the year. You will receive a full calendar for all course units so you can plan the completion of your program.

    Enrolment into this program is available throughout the year.

    REIWA Learning is not limited by semester enrolments.

    Refund Policy

    The student pays a $110 administration fee for the processing of the refund.  The student will pay the full course fee for all units commenced/attended/completed from within the qualification program to which they have committed.  The student will pay 10% of the balance of the total qualification price which the student has committed to. Application for a refund of course fees should be made before the 2 year timeframe of  your enrolment in the Diploma of Property Services (Agency Management) has expired.

    Commencement for correspondence units is the date the courseware was posted to the student.

    Commencement for on-line students is the date that on-line access is provided to an individual student for a particular unit.

    Commencement date for classroom based learning mode is the first day of the unit.

    Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

    RPL is a form of assessment offered by REIWA Learning, that acknowledges skills and knowledge gained through:

    • Previous formal or informal training
    • work experience
    • life experience

    RPL focuses on both the demonstration of competence and the currency of the competence to industry standards.  If, for example, you have extensive real estate experience, you may already have attained some of the skills and knowledge of the course.  RPL process can help you gain credit for this.

    Credit Transfer
     

    REIWA Learning recognise qualifications and Statement of Attainment issued by other Registered Training Organisations (RTO’s). If you have already completed a number of the units of competency outlined in this program, you will receive automatic recognition for those units and will not need to complete them. Additionally, we can organise a fee structure for you to complete the remaining units.
